I got 7 subscribers from 30 minutes of commenting in substack notes

Note: as of this morning, it’s now 11 subscribers in 2 days . . free, organic, just from substack . . .

Here’s the subs in my dashboard (emails hidden):

Now, that doesn’t seem impressive.

Except.

Free. No ads.

Just 30 minutes of chatting and commenting.

of course we can also pay for subscribers $2 - $3

but these were free but of course paid for with time . . .

time that’s incidentally fun because you meet people and when they join your list, you are glad they are they - they aren’t a cold optin, they are someone you interacted with in notes and they CHOSE to join your newsletter!

Imagine you do that 2x a day.

For 30 days.

That’s 7 x 2 = 14 subscribers a day.

That’s 14 x 30 = 420 subscribers a month.

What would happen to your business if you added 420 FREE, high quality subscribers who were seeking you out?

What if you send 3x - 4x excellent newsletters each week?

And then they started sharing . . . and instead of 420 . . it’s 520 or 720 or . .

And it adds up month after month.
