The Power to Change Your Life
The last 18 months have dramatically impressed upon me how quickly God can transform situations in our lives, and how quickly we can get natural results in our lives if we simply put our heads down and implement daily.
I’ve learned about childhood trauma I didn’t know existed, the impact on my entire life, relationships, marriage, family, my business through personal interactions, my ability to shepherd teams, pastor others, and so on, and have fundamentally different methods for handling pressure and stress in my life than I did even 12 months ago.
I started a brand new manifestation in my business, Workshops + Substack, about 15 months ago, and it’s transformed my business and what I teach others.
In just the last few months, I’ve lost fat and gained muscle.
I’ve made new friends, I’m mentoring new people, I’m communicating in a new way, and at a higher level than ever in my life.
God has changed my heart, He has given me the tools to work things in the natural, and He has made me into a better person - with my participation.
18 months ago it felt like death, an overwhelming fog and cloud of despair that might never be overcome, or that it would ruin the rest of my life.
Now, I feel a sense of freedom that doesn’t fit into words.
Since August 18th, I’ve written a book that by the grace of God should empower millions to draw closer to Him, using experiential methods that He has shepherded me through in the last 18 months.
It’s essentially finished, but I continue to tinker with individual sentences.
Friend, you may not care about my successes or progress.
And maybe I haven’t been clear enough about YOUR OWN power to change.
Friend, if there is something in your life that you just absolutely dislike . . .
would it be worth 3 months of hard work .. .
would it be worth 12 months or 18 months of hard work . .
to finally be free of that thing?
To be able to communicate better?
To be able to run a better business?
To be 50 lbs lighter (and all the freedom that comes from that).
(In my own life, I realize that my own self-confidence for 3 decades has partially been tied to the fact that I’ve been 50 lbs overweight for much of that time, and that as I lose weight, I have more self-confidence)
I realize that I ate to comfort myself, that I ate when I wasn’t really hungry because I was bored, or unhappy, or because I was somehow allowing food to substitute for true connection.
And as I’ve gained the psychological and emotional freedom, I realize I no longer have to eat out of loneliness or pain.
I no longer have to work so hard to prove something to someone.
I no longer have to be a workaholic because it helps me feel alive, or deaden some pain.
How about you?
What in your life would you change if you could?
Write it out:

Then make a plan to change it.
I hope you take the time to digest what I’ve written.
This has the power to change your life.
If you lean in.
Let God help.
Have the discipline to make the changes.
Have the honesty with yourself to accept that what you’ve been doing has been getting you your current results.
And the honesty to accept that life WOULD be different if you were taking different daily actions.
Love you!
Go for it!
Sean
