A few weeks ago, I started a test:
A newsletter on Substack and a newsletter on Beehiiv.
I read the “reviews” of substack versus beehiiv.
Substack better for community involvement and growth.
Beehiiv better stats and a paid ecosystem for new leads.
I started here on Substack for my first newsletter.
I started another one on Beehiiv.
Beehiiv, I see it’s very much driven by people buying subscribers . . . and it has a really easy ecosystem for doing that.
And substack:
I LIKE the idea of using a social ecosystem like substack notes and the natural virality of these posts . . .
Remember my ezinearticles days?
Crazy as it sounds . . .
I believe the new newsletter ecosystem is primed for me to do that . . here . . . and on Beehiiv.
So I’m doubling down on both Substack AND Beehiiv . . .
Using each for what their advantage is, and merging the lists as they grow.
If you would like me to show you my personal Substack and Beehiiv traffic plan, comment below and let me know . . .
Hi Sean,I would Love to see Your Substack and Behiiv traffic plan,If it's coming from Your Genius Mind,,it has to be a Great Plan Indeed.
I like that you move forward in transparent imperfection and talk about the warts as you go. This candid approach is relatable and builds trust, in my opinion. It sounds like you are saying that the subscribers acquired on Beehiiv are not genuine people who care about what you have to say in newsletter, but instead more like cold leads that get swapped around like solo ad traffic (almost.) Is that right, or am I missing something? Would love to see a post that goes a little deeper into your thought process on this.
