Why You Should Build a Multimedia Influencer Presence on Substack and Youtube
This article is very specifically for people who want to change the world with your ideas.
You see others with big youtube channels, or you look at folks with big Substack newsletters (or medium or IG, or wherever you see your heroes), and you think,
“if only I had that audience, I would be changing the world.”
Or: “if only I had that audience, I would have their level of influence or money, or whatever.”
And it’s easy to look at them and think they just got there overnight.
They didn’t.
They all started right where you are.
Here’s the thing YOU can’t change your current reaping of the work you’ve done in the last 5 years.
But you CAN change your 5 year future.
Can I tell you a secret?
It’s not a secret, except if you don’t know where to look, you probably haven’t heard it.
Here it is:
A lot of the popular youtube influencers are cutting back.
Some of them are just not recording videos anymore, or just a few a month.
NOT because it doesn’t work.
NOT because they aren’t making $200k/month.
But because the daily wear and tear of making a video 3 times a week, and since they have a million followers, they think it has to be perfectly edited, and because they get 1000 comments, and 25 of them are hateful and they take it personally . . .
Many of them are bowing out.
AT the SAME time that search volume is UP.
So what happens to all that traffic?
Youtube is going to send it somewhere.
Why not to you?
Same thing with medium - there’s so much hoopla about writers not making as much money over there, blah, blah, blah.
But I think part of it is the big writers aren’t writing as much.
So the views are down.
So there isn’t as much money to go around.
I could go on and on.
Personally, I think RIGHT NOW is the PERFECT window for someone to take their Substack + Youtube to a stratospheric level.
If YOU would like to do that, and you would like me to write a step by step article on HOW to do it, let me know in the comments.
Tell me you want me to write it.
AND tell me what your niche is, who you would really help.
That way IF I get enough comments and choose to write it, I can tailor it to YOUR niche and needs . .
The more you tell me, the better my article will be.

I'd like to start a newsletter like: Be a Better Parent
I would love your guidance and help with this. I am one of the many writers transitioning from Medium to Substack. Though it's not easy, I refuse to give up.
My life is full of challenges, and my writing is my life stories. I write about what I face each day taking care of two loved ones. They are suffering from Alzheimer's and Traumatic Brain Injury.
In the last ten years, I have learned to accept with gratitude and courage to carry on. This is my message to all facing similar situations: never give up, and take care of yourself while you care for your loved ones.
With living mindfully, the hardships ease.
